Reggie & Circe have been part of Meowtown Animal Rescue for more than seven years.

They arrived as two very different cats, but they found comfort, safety, and love in each other — and in the home you help us provide.

 

Reggie, now 9, came to us in January 2019 after being dumped at our door. He walked in with confidence and quickly became a volunteer favorite. Circe, now 8, was timid and unsure of the world. But the moment she met Reggie, everything changed.

 

They became inseparable — grooming each other, snuggling in the Community Room, and building a bond that has lasted their entire lives here. They are Meowtown’s resident lovebirds, and they will always have a safe, loving, forever home with us. And they’re just two of many.

 

Some of our long-term residents were devoted moms who were never chosen once their kittens were adopted. Others were kittens themselves — often black kittens — who were passed over simply because of their color. Every one of them is part of our family.

 

Caring for these cats is expensive, time consuming, and deeply important.

Food, medical care, enrichment, safe housing, and daily cleaning — it all adds up. But this is who we are. This is what we do. We are not complaining.

 

We are a no kill shelter, and every feline who enters Meowtown receives love, respect, and a home for as long as they need us — even if that means forever.
