Meowtown Animal Rescue has been working relentlessly to provide a safe haven for domestic animals here at the Lake. In 2023 alone, the organization rescued 399 cats/kittens and 4 puppies. Needless to say, the funds necessary to house, rehabilitate and ready these precious creatures for adoption continue to increase. To that end, our next event is an online auction.
Warmest thanks to Community Foundation of the Lake from the bottom of our hearts for your donation. The money will go a long way in providing shelter and nourishment for our “Senior Dog Project.” In fact, your belief in what we are doing with our dog intakes has prompted us to change the name to “One More Chance Dog Project.” We are forever grateful for your trust in us.
